142 began in 2019 as an artist led pop up space on the High Street of Felixstowe, a coastal town in Suffolk, UK.
We offer space and help to artists working in all mediums.
The gallery is set up as a CIC (Community Interest Company [non profit] and is organised by artists for the benefit of all artists involved.
Funds generated from the 25% commission are put into the running of 142 and into supporting such connected activities.
We operate with the sentiment that ‘we’re all in it together’ and are mindful of the joys of working this way and of the powerful potential when ‘creatives’ pull together.
